What we do

Pre-school, Infant & Junior Schools

Bella Tromba are experienced in working with children of all ages. We introduce the children to chamber music by performing in a concert style setting and encourage them to get up close to the instruments and discover how they work. We integrate well-known television and film themes with classical favourites and newer works.

Participation is key to all our workshops. We include musical games and involve the children in our pieces through the use of percussion instruments. With older children we introduce key concepts such as dynamics and conducting and give some children the chance to be Maestro!

Senior School: Key Stage 3 and 4

Our workshops in Senior Schools can be very flexible depending on the
school needs. †We offer:

Concert performances introducing pupils to different styles of music

Demonstrations promoting the take up of musical instruments

Composition based workshops

Curriculum tailored workshops incorporating Key Stage 3 and 4.

Justice System

Bella Tromba has 5 years experience working in Pupil Referral Units and
Youth Offenders Institutes. The pupils donít need to have had any musical
training. We offer hour workshops and full day projects usually aiming
towards a final performance. †We have found that working towards an end
performance builds confidence, teamwork and stimulates creativity.

Special Needs Schools

With over 5 years experience working in special needs schools Bella Tromba
have delivered workshops and concerts for special needs children and
adults with mild to severe learning difficulties. They have also worked
extensively in EBD Units.
